Words that she seem to shout these days - all picked up in last few weeks - include "achchhee" (sneezing sound, copying her mother), "flower", "button", "pigeon", "chinti" (ant), "khana", "shoes","dog","cat","meaow","hen","teeth","tree","hello","open","done".

Vedika - Day 413
So Vidhi has picked up a new word, which sounds something between baayaa or baalaa. Our initial interpretation was "bhaayaa" which we understood to be South Indian pronunciation (via Mariamma) of "bhaiyaa". It was funny and strange to hear such out of context word from her. Bit of sleuthing from her Mummy reveals that she may be saying "baalaa" which refers to her playing balls. She might as well be saying "ball la". Time will tell.
